Additional Resources for Veterans in Education

The Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency (MVAA) was founded in 2013 and serves as the central coordinating point for Michigan veterans, connecting those who have served to services and benefits throughout the state. Among the many services offered, MVAA operates a 24-hour Veteran Resource Service Center (1-800-MICH-VET), providing one-stop access for veterans and their families seeking information, resources, and support.

The Consortium of Michigan Veterans Educators (CMVE) is a robust professional development network with the mission to serve all Michigan public colleges and universities in their efforts to support military-affiliated students. CMVE provides rich networking and professional development opportunities to its members, including connection with and review of MCMC initiatives.
