[WEBINAR] Let COOL be your compass: Mapping military occupations to civilian credentials
Occupational credentialing (licensure and certification) is promoted across the military Services to enhance recruitment, professional development, retention, and transition to the civilian workforce. Through the military Services’ Credentialing Opportunities On-Line (COOL) programs, military occupations have been mapped to over 1,200 civilian credentials. In FY 16, the Services paid for over 45,000 certifications and licenses for Service members. Learn about the COOL programs, including:
- Mapping of military occupations to civilian credentials;
- Alignment between military training and experience and civilian credential requirements and methods of filling any gaps;
- Credential payment policies; and
- Methods to facilitate credentialing of Service members.
The hour-long presentation will include time for Q & A.
