On July 1, 2014, Jack Hershey became the president and CEO of the Ohio Association of Community Colleges (OACC). Prior to leading OACC he managed state government affairs for Ohio State University. Before joining Ohio State he served as deputy director of the Office of Budget and Management under Ohio Governor Bob Taft and was also the director of finance in the Ohio House of Representatives under Speaker Jo Ann Davidson. He holds a bachelor’s degree in public policy management from the University of Akron. Mr. Hershey is a native of Cleveland.
