2021 Emerging Issues and Policies Regarding Military-Connected Students

In January 2021, the President signed the Johnny Isakson and David P. Roe, M.D. Veterans Health Care and Benefits Improvement Act of 2020 into law (P.L.116-315). This recent law makes substantial changes to military-connected students education benefits. Many of the modifications improve and/or increase education benefits for military-connected students, veterans, and their families of various GI Bill® programs.
