About this Indicator
This indicator measures the percentages of high school seniors and high school graduates who completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by June 30th of the specified year to obtain aid for the following academic year. The filing rates in 2020, for instance, represent the percentages of high school seniors and graduates in the class of 2020 who completed a FAFSA by June 30th of 2020 to receive financial aid during the 2020-21 academic year.
