NIOLA COVID-19 Webinar and Survey Report

National Institute for Learning Outcomes Assessment

As institutions pivoted to remote and distance-learning, the National Institute for Learning Outcomes Assessment (NIOLA), produced a survey to capture how institutions made assessment-related changes in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The report, entitled Assessment During A Crisis: Responding to a Global Pandemic, has recently been released and captures data from over 600+ institutions. In addition to an overview of the findings, the report also provides “do’s” and “do not’s” for higher education and the field of assessment as we begin to look beyond Fall 2020.
